– Wasps: If you are finding wasps, you will know that they are much more aggressive. They build papery nests in eaves, shrubs, tree branches and other crevices. Yellow jackets and paper wasps are the most common.
– Hornets: These are even larger than wasps and will usually build their large, papery nests in tall trees above the ground. They are usually football shaped nests.

Wasps and hornets will become incredibly aggressive and are known to chase down their enemies for up to a mile before giving up. You Should Take Preventative Measures
One of the best ways to keep stinging insects off your property is to take some preventative measures that will make your property less appealing.
– Fill in any holes or gaps that would make a good place to build a nest
– Keep trash cans clean with tight fitting lids securely in place
– Trim back all your trees and shrubs to further reduce potential nesting sites
– Don’t leave food out after an outdoor gathering
